Protection de votre projet is the other half of our promise: a structured risk-reduction and claims-support process, kept step by step inside your project. It is not insurance, and it is not a reimbursement promise — it is the discipline that makes every stage checkable.
How the protection is built, step by step
Every step is recorded in the project, with its date and its document. A step that does not apply to your project is marked as such — it is never invented.

Supplier verification
Before any commitment: identity, documents, registries. No supplier is called “verified” unless verification actually happened.

Written product specifications
Style, materials, finishes, colours, dimensions, quantities, packing: what must be produced is written down, not promised.

Customer approval
The specification only goes to the supplier after your explicit approval, recorded in the project.

Sample approval and pre-production confirmation
Where the project justifies it: an approved sample, then written confirmation before production starts.

Pre-shipment inspection (optional)
Carried out by named, qualified partners and quoted separately — never presented as our own service.

Photo and video evidence
Inspection photos and videos collected and dated inside the project file.

Shipping-document verification
Packing list and shipping documents checked against the approved specification.

Claim coordination
For damaged, missing or non-conforming goods: evidence collection, documented exchange with the supplier, incident tracking inside the project.
Where the protection is included
The Protection de votre projet workflow is part of the Projet Maison Complet offer. Paid options — pre-shipment inspection, cargo or transport insurance — are always performed and provided by named qualified partners, quoted separately, and never presented as our own service or our own policy. For the other offers, the protection elements are proposed where they genuinely apply.

It is not insurance
Outre-Mer Supply is not an insurer and does not sell an insurance policy. An insurance option (cargo, transport) can only be offered through a named qualified partner, with its coverage, exclusions and conditions stated. Until a qualified insurance partner has been verified by our coordinator, we do not mention any insurance.
It is not a reimbursement promise
We never promise to reimburse non-conforming goods. Our role is to build the evidence file before shipping and to coordinate the claim with the supplier — the outcome of a claim depends on the supplier, the carrier and the guarantees actually in place.
It does not remove risk
Protection reduces risk; it does not eliminate it. Every step exists because a real problem can happen — our work is to make it documented, dated and contestable with evidence.
